Notes and Stuff

Hey, wtf is this?

Sometimes my friends tell me “You like to piss against the wind huh?”

Which is pretty accurate to be honest. Sometimes. Mostly. Whatever. Not the point here now.

So what is with this blog like thing here? In 2026? Writing manually like animals? Not even speech to text, no AI? What’s next? Pen and paper?

Well. Don’t get me wrong. I like technology, I grew up with the internet, I’ve seen it from the “magical thing” phase to the current “commodity” situation where we value fast connection more than clean water or healthy food.

I think it’s time - at least for me; you can do whatever you want - to stop a bit, slow down and check on what is going on, because the movie Idiocracy is not funny anymore but terrifying.

As one of my wise friends said:

“I have too many people’s thoughts in my head.”

We are consuming and consuming and when we want to create we take the shortest route. But first let me check my apps to avoid FOMO. Let me fill up my head with content from strangers so I don’t feel alone. And fill it up so much that my own thoughts don’t fit anymore, but who needs their own thoughts anymore.

And I’m gonna go with proper “OK, boomer” vibes, but:

Why bother reading when there are audio books, why bother to write when we have free ChatGPT, why bother to learn to draw or photograph when Gemini can do anything I want? These are hard to challenge these days, and I have no right to judge anyone but myself.

So this is my way to work on myself. To write. In my way, without constraints and with grammatical errors. Not particularly to anyone, but just to form my own thoughts and get them out from my head. To free up space for new and fresh thoughts. Dump my brain.

“Why here and not on any famous social media platform? You make Elon and Mark sad.”

Because I don’t want to contribute to the noise and I don’t want to feed the algorithm and mostly because I don’t want to know what others think about what I write. Anyone can think anything, freely, be my guest. But I’m not here to start a conversation or an argument. If you think differently, good for you, start your own blog and write it down, have fun.

Kind regards,

K
